MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's golf team is set to kick off its 2025-26 season this week, under the direction of Head Coach
Ken Hamilton and graduate assistant
Owen Page. The season sees five new Weevils,
Peyton Bobbitt,
Connor Denson,
James Fuhrer.
Blayden Gillham and
Camden Henson, on the roster, joining returners,
Sawyor Hamilton,
Landon Milton,
Landry Rogers,
Carson Slaughter and
Daniel Taylor, bringing the 25-26 squad to 10.
The first tournament for the Weevils will be held in Tulsa,Oklahoma at the Page Belcher Golf Course, for the 2025 NSU Men's Golf Classic, hosted by Northeastern State Univeristy. Tee times are set for approximately 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 15, and Tuesday, September 16.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
The NSU Men's Golf Classic: Arkansas-Monticello will compete alongside a field of 17other colleges and universities. The field of teams includes: Arkansas-Monticello, the University of Central Missouri, Rogers State, Washburn, the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, Central Oklahoma, Missouri Southern, Missouri Western, tournament host Northeastern State, Fort Hayes State, Newman, Pittsburg State, and GAC members, Harding, East Central, Arkansas Tech, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Northwestern Oklahoma State, Southern Arkansas, Southeastern Oklahoma State, and Southern Nazarene.

The Boll Weevils finished the Great American Conference Championship in sixth place at 47-over par (887), after achieving team scores of 296, 288 and 303 over the course of the championship. Leading the day for the Boll Weevils finishing the day firing a +5 (75), and closing out the championship tied for 21, +10 (220), was Landry Rogers.
