BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - The Arkansas-Monticello men's golf team concluded its 2025-26 season Tuesday in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the Forest Ridge Golf Club. The Boll Weevils finished the Great American Conference Championship in eighth place at 53-over par (917), after achieving team scores of 307, 310 , and 300 over the course of the tournament.
Leading the Weevils in the final round was
Blayden Gillham, who fired 3-under par (69), to combine for a total of 222 (+6) to finish the tournament tied for 7th place.
Landry Rogers was next for Arkansas-Monticello, firing a 76 (+4), to close the championship with an 11-over par (227), tying for 20th place.
Penciling a 77 (+5) was
Daniel Taylor, who combined for a three-round carding of 231 (+15), tying for 31st place.
Carson Slaughter fired an 87 (+15) to close out the tournament in 52nd, 248 (+32).
Closing out the tournament for the Weevils,
Connor Denson took over due to a UAM injury and fired 6-over par (78). In the only round played, Denson finished in 55th place with 78.
James Fuhrer finished with a two-round total of 17-over par (161), placing 53rd overall.
On the final round, the Weevils fired 14 birdies; all five Weevils who played round three fired a birdie on hole 18, a par 5. The Weevils combined shot for 35 birdies on the week.
