MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball and softball teams have announced changes to their upcoming series against Arkansas Tech due to rain in the forecast this weekend. The Weevils are altering their series to play a doubleheader Friday and a single game Saturday while the Blossoms' series with ATU is moving to Monticello.

The UAM baseball team will host the Wonder Boys at Weevils Field for a doubleheader Friday starting at noon. The Weevils will wrap up the three-game series Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Blossoms will now host the Golden Suns at Alvy Early Softball Field for a single game at 3 p.m. Friday and a doubleheader starting at noon Saturday. UAM was originally scheduled to travel to Russellville, Ark. for the series but the threat of rain moved the contests to Monticello.
