University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletics

Lipscomb University: Played in 54 games for the Bison while starting 52… Hit .322 out of the cleanup spot with 13 extra base hits including eight doubles and three homeruns… Led the team in rbi with 42. Ranked 3rd in both slugging and on-base percentage…  Also stole six bases in eight attempts… Received a Medical Redshirt in 2010.

Itawamba Community College: Played in every game for two seasons… Was a combined 15-2 on the mound in two years for the Indians…. Threw in 127.1 innings and struck out 119 batters… Played both third and second base in his stint at ICC… Turned in batting averages of both .381 and .397... Combined for six homeruns and 17 doubles… 9-for-11 on the base paths… named First team All-MACJC as a sophomore.

High School: Five-year letterman for Coach Rex Berryman at Mooreville High School... named Division Player of the Year... named one of Top 5 Pitchers in his division... also played basketball for the Troopers... graduated with Special Distinction.

Personal: Son of John and Nancy Chism... born December 22, 1988... has one brother, Lance... working on his Master’s in Physical Education and Coaching.
