Weevils Baseball: Record Books Updated Following 2025 & 2026 Seasons

Following the conclusion of the 2025 and 2026 baseball seasons, the Boll Weevils continued their rise as one of the top programs in NCAA Division II. UAM saw a third-place finish after regular season play in the Great American Conference, and an appearance in the NCAA DII Central Region Tournament in 2025 before capturing a first-place finish in the Great American Regular Season Conference in 2026. Building on the momentum of the program's historic NCAA DII Super Regionals appearance in 2024, UAM baseball saw multiple additions and updates made to its record books following both seasons. UAM baseball has maintained records dating back to the 1971 season.

Throughout the 2025 and 2026 seasons, five different Boll Weevils improved upon records that were already listed in the UAM baseball record books, while six additional players etched their names into the record book for the first time.

The 2025 season saw four Boll Weevils add to their places in the UAM record books, including C Chaz Poppy (2023-25), OF Kirk Woolf (2023-25), OF Roc Hawthorne (2024-25), and P Connor Irvine (2023-25). Additionally, 3B Justin Santoyo (2025) and 2B Chase Cripps (2022-25) earned their place in the record books for the first time.

Following the conclusion of the 2026 season, five Boll Weevils found their names added to the UAM record books, including P John White (2025-26), OF Kyle Tolley (2025-26), INF Darcy Barry (2026), and 3B Daniel Lizarraga (2026). Additionally, OF Camden Tanner (2023-26) continued to add to his place in the record books with several new entries.

Head Coach John Harvey also continued to climb the UAM coaching record books, raising his career winning percentage to .577 with an overall record of 440-322, while increasing his conference winning percentage to .608. Harvey now ranks first in program history in total victories and second in overall winning percentage.
