MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Blossoms softball team hosted the Golden Suns of Arkansas Tech University Friday afternoon for the third and final game of the GAC series. UAM fell in the final contest by a score of 6-1, falling in the series 0-3.

Scoring Recap:
The Suns quickly added four runs to the ball game, with the first coming off the bat of the first batter to start the game who sent a solo shot over the left field wall. Two more singles in the first would make it 4-0, before UAM got a chance to bat.
The Blossoms put their only run on the board in the bottom of the first as
Jolie Bazan saw home.
Two more home runs from the bat of the same Golden Sun in the fourth and sixth made it 6-1, for ATU, who took the series 3-0.

- Kyeligh Benton started in the circle for the Blossoms allowing four runs on four hits.
