FORT SMITH, Ark. – On Wednesday, the Great American Conference announced its 2025-26 Women's Basketball superlative awards, releasing the All-GAC teams and naming its top Scholar Athletes. Arkansas-Monticello saw senior
Alindsey Long earn an Honorable Mention honor,
Opal Hardy named an Elite Scholar Athlete, and three Blossoms named to the GAC Academic Honor Roll.
Long earns the accolade after an impressive senior season campaign in which she led the Blossoms in many different categories, including total points (357), three-pointers (55), and field goals (132), while averaging 12.8 points per game. Long started all 28 games for UAM and sits at fourth in the conference in 3-PT field goals per game (2.0). She was seventh in the GAC for minutes played (951), averaging 34 minutes on the court for the Blossoms.
Opal Hardy was one of seven players in the conference to be named an Elite Scholar Athlete.
Alindsey Long,
Nicole Weaver, and
Keira Williams were each elected to the GAC Academic Honor Roll.
The Blossoms finished the 2025-26 season with a 12-16 overall record and a 1-21 record in Great American Conference play.
