Runs three and four crossed in the second inning, a double from Gabe Kuttenkuler brought in Kyle Tolley, while a Rangers error allowed Kuttenkuler to score.

Three more runs saw home in the third, with Darcy Barry kicking off the inning with a solo bomb over the left field wall. A double from Tanner brought in Kuttenkuler and Drew Floyd, to make it 8-0 UAM.

The Weevils extended their lead in the fifth as Elijah Olaybal squeezed one through the right side for a single, scoring Tanner and Floyd. A NWOSU wild pitch provided time for Lizarraga to add the 11th run of the game to the board.

Tanner blasted a two-run shot over the wall in the sixth to bring in Tolley, increasing the lead to 13.

Northwestern Oklahoma mustered their only run of the contest in the bottom of the sixth with a single to left field, before being run-ruled 13-1 in the bottom of the seventh.
