ROGERS, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello's men's golf team closed out first day of the 2026 Shadow Valley Invitational Monday afternoon, firing a combined team result of 580 (+42) to finish in 15th. The score above and the results below are based off of holes played prior to round two being suspended due to darkness.
Landry Rogers fired a first round of 3-over par (75), before carding a 3-over par in round two, finishing day tied for 33rd.
Daniel Taylor closed the first round of the day at 9-over par (81), and the second round currently stands at 1-over par, to sit tied for 53rd.
Harry Lockwood penciled 4-over par (76) in round one, and 8-over par in round two, sitting tied for 60th.
Carson Slaughter carded a round one score of 79 (+7), prior to penciling a current result of 9-over par in round two, to tie for 80th on the day.
James Fuhrer was last for the Weevils firing a +12 (84) in round one, and at the moment sits with a carding of 7-over par, to finish the day tied for 85th.
The Weevils combined for 17 birdies on the day,
