MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello softball team will travel to Arkadelphia on Friday to open a three-game Great American Conference series with The Reddies of Henderson State.

LAST MEETING
The Blossoms secured the series win going 2-1 over the Reddies in 2025. The Blossoms took game one 4-0, as Arkansas-Monticello was the only team to add digits to the scoreboard doing so in the fourth and fifth innings. Jadyn Hart kicked off the scoring after advancing home from an Ashlynne Vote sacrifice fly in the fourth. The final three runs of the night came in the fifth inning. Dacia Sexton singled and plated Lainey TippenMaddie Pfleging ran home via a fielder's choice, and Aubree Goodnight scored off an HSU wild pitch, allowing UAM to take the game, 4-0. Jadyn Barger recorded the win in the circle for the Blossoms. UAM spilt the doubleheader going, 4-8, and 5-3. In game two Henderson placed four runs on the board in the top of the first, a double to centerfield ran in one, while three Reddies crossed from a home run to left field. The Blossoms tied it 4 all in the bottom of the fourth as Ashlynne Vote drove one over the right-center field wall to score four unearned runs by Jadyn HartAubree Goodnight Jade Keaton, and herself. A bases-loaded walk in the fifth helped HSU retake the lead, 5-4. The Reddies would seal game two with a three-run home run to take the game, 8-4. In the final game of the series, Aubree Goodnight kicked things off for Arkansas-Monticello as she singled through right field to score Ashlynne Vote in the bottom of the second. The Blossoms entered three more runs in the third as Jadyn Hart doubled down the left-field line to drive in Dacia SextonMaddie Pfleging would score off Vote's ground out, and Hart would advance home off a double from Goodnight. The Reddies would start to cut into the Blossoms lead with a double down the left field line in the fourth to score a run, making it 4-1. Makenzie Martin was called in to pinch hit and drove a ball over the centerfield wall to make it 5-1 Blossoms in the fourth. Henderson would score the remaining runs of the ball game in the top of the fifth as two runs would be brought in off a double to center field. UAM would take the final game, 5-3, and the series 2-1. Jaydn Barger recorded the win, with Makenzie Martin clinching the save inside the circle.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Blossoms lead in the all-time series 68-33, which dates back to the first meeting, a 17-1 win, in March of 1999. Between the first meeting and April 23, 2005, the Blossoms won 26 games straight, the streak would be broken by a Reddies 10-9 win. At home at Alvy Early Softball Field the Blossoms are 33-7, with a 28-25 record on the road, in conference play the record stands at 61-31 Blossoms. The largest margin of victory came in April of 2002 during the win streak, a 19-0 win for UAM. Through 101 games played 579 runs have been added to the board for the Blossoms, averaging 5.73 runs per game.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLOSSOMS
The Blossoms fell in their twin bill on February 24, dropping game one, 3-5, and game two 3-7, to the Choctaws of Mississippi College.
