MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello women's golf team is set to kick off its 2025-26 season this week, under the direction of Head Coach Ken Hamilton and graduate assistant Owen Page. The season sees three new blossoms, Faith Hendren, Paveekul Kladkleep, and Kenzie McCleny, on the roster, joining returners, Renata Abad, Robbi Jo Freeman, Cadee Glasgow, Tori Milton, and Natalie Van Dort, bringing the 25-26 squad to eight.
The first tournament for the Blossoms will be held in Blue Springs, Missouri, at the Adams Pointe County Club, for the Central Region Fall Preview. Tee times are set for approximately 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, and Wednesday, September 3.

The Central Region Fall Preview: Arkansas-Monticello will compete alongside a field of 17 other colleges and universities. The field of teams includes; Arkansas-Monticello, the University of Central Missouri, Southwest Minnesota State University, Oklahoma Baptist University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Missouri Western State University, preview host Southern Nazarene University, Northeastern State University, Harding University, Wayne State College, Southern Arkansas University, Northwest Missouri State University, Missouri Southern State University, Henderson State University, Winona State University, Arkansas Tech Univeristy, Augstana University.
Last Time Out: UAM finished the 2024-25 GAC Championship in 7th place. Leading the Blossoms on the final day was senior Shehna Akbary, who penciled 8-over par (78), to finish the championship tied for 14, 230 (+20). Akbary also represented UAM in the 2024-25 Central Region Tournament. She concluded the tournament and her collegiate career, with a 54-hole total of 219 (+9) to tie for 30th place.
