Brief Background
Katelynn Stamper will enter her senior season as a member of the Blossoms in 2021. Stamper has known to be a base-stealing threat in her past few seasons. She's combined for 41 bags stolen since 2018 and has only been caught twice. Stamper hails from Sanger, Texas where she played at Sanger High School.

Why did you come to UAM?
I came to further my education while continuing playing softball. Coach Early and Coach Lem really welcomed me and made it feel like home, just felt right.
What has been your favorite part about being here thus far?
Being able to make new relationships with people from all over.
In our current situation, what is something positive you have taken out of all of this?
Having to rely on my close friends and family, and just focusing on the small things.
What do you like most about playing with your team?
The environment we bring when were on the field, and how each of us have our own stories and how we all have overcome adversity to get where we are.
What is your favorite class in your major?
Any class with Dr. Guizar, but my favorite so far has been Kinesiology.
What is something you really have enjoyed about that class?
It pertains to my future job, so I was able to get familiar with some concepts.
What do you do when you're not playing softball?
Study... or watch movies with my friends.
What is your favorite late-night snack?
Cheez-its or pizza rolls
If you could go on an all-expenses paid vacation, where would you go?
I would love to go to Sweden, especially during Christmas.
What is your favorite show to watch on a lazy day?
Probably "New Amsterdam" or "Greys Anatomy".
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The ability to be invisible.
If you could be any animal, what would it be?
A dog or a cow.
What is your favorite sports movie?
I like a lot of sports movies, but
Miracle is my favorite.
