RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas — University of Arkansas at Monticello freshman setter Kendall Vondra has been named the Great American Conference Setter of the Week for the second time this season.
Vondra guided the Blossoms to a 2-0 week after defeating GAC opponents Southeastern Oklahoma State, 3-2, and East Central, 3-0, each at home.
The Arlington, Texas native finished up the week up with 88 assists and averaged 11.00 assists per set. Vondra totaled 49 assists in the match-up against Southeastern Oklahoma and tallied 39 overall assists in the following contest against the Tigers of East Central. She added 10 digs, one service ace and two kills to her stat-line as well.
UAM will return to action next on Thursday, October 27 as the Blossoms will face the Muleriders of Southern Arkansas University in a GAC match-up in Monticello, Arkansas inside Steelman Field House with first serve scheduled for 6 p.m.
