MONTICELLO – University of Arkansas at Monticello football coach Gwaine Mathews and volleyball coach Nicole Smith have released their 2009 schedules.
 
The football team is set to kickoff the 2009 campaign on the road in Stephenville, Texas against Tarleton State on Thursday, August 27 at 7 p.m.
 
There are currently five home games, including “Family Appreciation Day” for the September 19 game against Henderson State. Homecoming is set for October 24 at 3 p.m. against Harding.
 
The Boll Weevils have one GSC-TV Game of the Week in 2009, an October 8 matchup against West Georgia in Carrollton, Ga.
 
The volleyball team is currently set to have 12 home matches, half coming in the month of October. The Cotton Blossoms open the season with a pair of matches on Saturday, August 29 in Fort Smith, Ark.
 
Also on the schedule are trips to Austin and Dallas, Texas, as well as a trip to Tampa, Fla. for UAM’s first appearance in the South Region Crossover.
